Efficient heat storage: At the heart of each Süka heating system are refractory ceramic plates – known as Chamotte. They combine a unique storage material with modern design and technology into one highly efficient unit. Within each ceramic plate is a low wattage heating element shaped like W which heats up the plate from inside – only when it needs it. A typical radiator has individual heating plates wired to form a complete heating unit.
No emissions: The heating element is fully embedded within the fire plate. There is no direct exposure to the surface atmosphere, so less oxygen is burnt if any at all. Thus within the room, the heater provides warmth without causing carbon dioxide or toxin emissions. The radiators are truly eco friendly systems.

Radiant heat: The heating system works by imitating the sun’s radiant warmth and relies on the best of all heat: RADIANT HEAT. Once the heat is absorbed into the radiator system, it is then radiated out in an intensive and comfortable manner throughout the room. In addition to the healthy emission of radiant heat from the side panels, a chimney effect caused by the rugged and precision design of the flutes surrounding the core of the heater, allow for a low level of convective heat which combines with the radiant heat to ensure an optimal ambient temperature in the room.
Complete control of heat: Recent developments in electric heating have produced highly sophisticated time and temperature controls, which have been adopted by SÜKA. This means that SÜKA heaters can be set at different temperatures to suit the requirements of a particular room. Bedrooms for example may be required to have a lower temperature than a living room. Each SÜKA heater can be controlled independently, giving a flexibility of use impossible with boiler based systems. Accurate control of a heating system will not only reduce energy wastage but also save on running costs.
